We have returned safely to th US after one of the nicest trips we have taken. Although we were a little worried about booking online and with an agent out of the country, but we couldn't have been more impressed with the efficiency and professinalism that your company showed us. At the first meeting with Jeremy - what a delightful young man - we were met with courtesy and never had to worry about any of the details of our trip. Every person was on time and the activities were great. We were a bit surprised at the difficullty of the horse trransfer due to the steep terrain - you might make sure that hose who have never ridden horses know about this. The Sky trek was really fun, (Iwasn't sure at the beginning, but sure had a great time) Eugene, our driver to Quepos and again to San JOse was very delightful - I had to really practice my Spanish, but he was really a careful driver and took good care of us. We had excellent service from Blue Fin charters and my daughter reeled in a large sailfish - quite an adventure. Only two comments that might make the trip just perfect - maybe an arranged tour of Manuel Antonio, although we had no problems finding a certified guide. Also, although Costa Verde was beautiful, we didn't realize the distance from the beach. Finally, I would opt for another hotel besides Amon Plaz - we were a little put off by the surrounding area, but by that time, we were getting ready to go home. The Anenal Paraiso and El Establo were wonderful - at MOnteverde, they even upgrraded us to suites - that was nice! All and all, we really enjoyed our trip to your beautiful country. The people were warm and friendly and the sights were trully spectacular. We were very, very pleased, and rate our experience a 9 on a 10-point scale.

Paul and driver Eugene were a great team. We were able to see hundreds of birds, many species of lizards, and most exciting for us, a white nosed koati.

Paul was most knowledgable about the park's indiginous wildlife. He carried "spotter cards" with names & illustrations of birds and animals that we encountered, which greatly enriched our experience. Further, he was exceptional at spotting wildlife along the trail that we would have otherwise missed.

Additional persons: No. Carol & I elected to enjoy our tour privately, which was perfect. With no other guests, we were able to move about quietly, and pause when we wished to, without conflicting with the pacing of other guests.

You have every reason to be proud of the outstanding tour experience delivered by Paul and Eugene.

The *only* negative experience about our tour was that there was an undisclosed additional cost for boot rental when we arrived at Carrara Park.

Calf-high rubber boots were essential for this tour, to safely and securely hike through the water and mud on the trail. In that sense, we were fortunate that boot rental was available at Carrara Park headquarters. However, renting these boots was an unexpected additional expense.

We think the absolute necessity of rubber boots should have been disclosed to us at the time we booked the tour, and we should have been advised of the option of (1) bringing our own, or (2) the cost and availability of rental boots. With the limited supply of boots available at park headquarters, we felt fortunate to find boots that fit reasonably well for our tour.

With the exception of this negative surprise, we would rate our tour a perfect "10".

Thank you again, Mario, for your personal assistance in answering my many questions before booking our tour.

As a final note, Geenway's membership in ASTA, and your acceptance of the American Express Card, were deciding factors in booking our tour with you. In combination, this gave us the necessary confidence to complete an internet booking with a company with which we had no previous experience.

I just returned home from my cruise. I first wanted to thank you for the email Christmas card. I'd like to wish you and your family and
staff all the very best for 2005. The reason I am writing now, is to thank you for a wonderful time on the 'Limon Highlights' tour. Having seen large bus tours, it was pleasant to have a small group of 12 on the smaller air conditioned bus. Your guide Eduardo was excellent. Matina and I thought he was the genuine article, and not pretentious as are many guides. We were very comfortable with him immediately. The 4 tours in one was also the real deal at an excellent price. As we couldn't afford many tours at the ship prices, your tour was actually the hightlight of the cruise. It gave us a good introduction to Costa Rica , even though this was in the Limon Province only. (I had been looking forward to this particular tour since before the cruise, and it didn't disappoint.) We would recommend your company to anyone we hear of going to Costa Rica , We would also contact you in the future when our plans bring us back. We will definately plan a week or 10-day vacation to CR now. We will be looking for a split vacation such as a few days at a resort and something like an Eco-vacation as the other part as we love animals.

I just wanted to send a note to say thank you for such a fabulous trip.  Everything was wonderful, the rain forest, Arenal, hot springs, and the resort.  We had a great time and will never forget it.  Eduardo and Juan Carlos were very helpful and friendly.  I'm so sorry for the incident with Kate's glasses.  You should be very proud of your country and its people.  Michael wore his new soccer jersey to school today!
